While walking in the dark woods, I heard it. I gasped for air, alerting myself to the possible attack. Whether it was a big wolf or in a human form. I slowly stepped while activating my wolf ears. I could see different sounds. The crackling of leaves. The waves of the water in the streams. The swaying of trees. And the incoming unknown features.

I moved as fast as I could. I punched him in the face, but he suddenly dodged to the left and hugged me. “Damn you!”
