The clash of metal echoed, followed by a violent jolt that almost caused Era to lose control. She growled in frustration and quickly turned the wheel to steady her car, which had almost skidded off the road.

Era glanced into the rear-view mirror. There she saw a massive figure with glowing green-yellow eyes running parallel to her car.
