"You did what?!!!" Astonished, I watch his eyes dart everywhere but my meaningful glare focus on him.

"It's just a little white lie." He replies.

"Telling coach you're my baby sitter till my parents get back from their trip is not a little white lie. How could he even believe that?" Really, how could he? It's a very obvious lie that even I can smell from a mile away. If only he knew my parent is all cozy up for the weekend at home.

"Wellllll." He drawls out scratching the back of his hair and my voice hardens.
