Instead of worrying, Zach breathes a deep sigh of relief and says,

"That's good news. Glad to know I didn't kill another one of our own."

"If he saw your face, he'll talk, your majesty," Henry remarks. “Not that I wish him death, but this could be a problem.”

"I'll have to find a way around it, then. Justin, let me know as soon as Caleb finishes with him."

"Sure thing. I've asked him to call immediately."

The meal continues silently with Zach occasionally looking from me to my plate whenever I pause eating.
