The omega deposits a small bowl of chocolate mousse in front of me moments after I finish my meal. Zach is still on his meal.

The table has fallen silent again after the doctor’s answer to my earlier question, aside from the occasional silent exchange between the King and his Beta. The two are clearly mindlinking while Justin hurriedly finishes the rest of his dessert. A moment later, he excuses himself and disappears from sight.
