The bright light of the castle continues to fade as Zach and I sneak farther away from its massive walls. A few warriors lurk around keeping watch.

Zach says something to them through the mindlink. Then he places a finger across his lips, no doubt ordering them to tell no one that we've left the building.

We are far from the massive walls of my new home when I look up at the sky for no reason.

It's a new moon, so it's not like I can see anything up there except the bright grey clouds. Especially with my wolfless eyes.
