Running off home, I hadn’t bothered to make a statement at the police station, not after I saw what I saw. I knew that not all of the police were on the gang’s side but I’m sure the majority of them were otherwise they wouldn’t be so afraid of me telling the police about them but even still, with that knowledge, I didn’t know which police officer to trust and which one not to trust.
