I just nodded as we went home. My first day of school was epic. He never left me there after he talked to the principal.

"Do you know the principal?" I asked unable to cope with the silence that had formed between the two of us.

."Yes," he still drove seriously while frowning.

"How?"

"I'm a sponsor of the University,"

"Oh ... great." I didn't say anything then. I just smiled at the absence and kept replaying in my brain what he said.
