"It's been over 24 hours since she locked herself up in the penthouse," I spoke, running my hand over my face. After finding out that Delaney was pregnant and breaking the spell, the next day when we drove to the office, she went to the penthouse and locked herself up with all the spare keys.

Kai breathed out loudly, his shoulders slumping forward. "I don't even know how to beg her anymore to open the door," he admitted, leaning on the wall beside the penthouse front door.

"Delaney, please." I knocked for the hundredth time, yawning. We'd stayed outside by the door the entire night, hoping and pleading...
