"Get up." I woke up with a gasp, followed by a series of coughs that left my throat burning. I blinked once, then twice, my eyes coming into contact with a pair of black boots. The coldness of the floor beneath me was not enough to numb the ache in my entire body. I couldn't tell which part hurt the most, my throbbing skull, my burning wrists or my legs.

I couldn't tell where I was for a moment until I heard the loud screams, and then it all came rushing back.
