Parents are double parked with Kids running around, teachers waving traffic wardens.
“You’re tense,” Collins says without looking up.
“I’m trying to figure things out,” I reply.
He smirks. “You’re about to pick up your kid with a plan he knows nothing about, then his mother, then drive them to a house she’s never seen. You want me to applaud your calm?”
