I get back into the house with my emotions unstable and me absolutely angry.
Everything feels wrong.
I don’t sit. I don’t pour a drink. I don’t breathe properly, I pace around and
I call Collins.
“Now,” I say into the phone. “Get here now.”
By the time I drop my phone on the table, Levi and Ron are already walking in like they sensed the shift in my mental state. Levi’s expression is sharp and assessing. Ron looks pissed before I even open my mouth.
“You look like hell,” Ron says.
“She ran,” I reply.
That shuts them both up.
Levi’s brows knit. “Ran where?”
