Ding!

I suddenly hear the sound of my message tone all the way from the bathroom where I am, but my hair and face are covered in a thick mess of foam.

I can barely see through the soap, but my heart does a little jump.

I asked Pippa to text me the second she got to work so she could give me the vibe of the office before our big promotion meeting.

Everything inside me is shaking with nerves for today. I don't exactly know how this promotion thing will start… or how it will end.

I wipe a bit of foam from my eyes and peek through...
