Thane grabbed the plates as Astella dished out the meal. Yvonne smiled as the aroma hit her nose.

“Let's use the dining table” Thane suggested.

Yvonne’s smile changed into a frown instantly.

“What's wrong? You don't want to eat at the table?” Astella asked.

Yvonne nodded in agreement.

“Okay, we'd eat here instead” Astella said.

“In the kitchen?” Thane asked staring at Yvonne.

Yvonne nodded slowly as the smile on her face appeared once more.

“Come sit” Astella gestured towards Yvonne as she pulled out a seat for her.

Yvonne ran happily towards her.

They dug into the food as Yvonne ate peacefully without throwing tantrums.
