"It's been quite a while since you've been working for Deaton, how is work going?" Adonis questioned, walking into Anabella's study.

"Why did you ask, I thought you didn't care?" Anabella glanced at Adonis suspiciously wondering what he wanted.

"Well, it's not that I care, I just want to know." Adonis shrugged, not bothered by Anabella's remark.

"Well, it's been going well," Anabella replied, not wanting to be disrespectful. Since Adonis asked, then she was supposed to reply like a normal human and not give a Sarcastic answer.

"Also, I want you to know that there's a contract I and Deaton had been competing for?"...
