I never liked waiting but I did wait as it was the third day, by tomorrow I was supposed to be out of here.
Sitting in this damn cell for seven years has been torture. Not just because of the confinement, but because of how useless I felt in here.
The prison halls are quieter at night, except for the occasional shuffle of guards on duty. I sit on the edge of my cot, my fingers drumming against my knee as I wait. In a few hours from now, the first part of the plan will fall into place.
