Footsteps in the hallway.

It could only mean one thing…..Liam is back from Kindergarten alongside his aunt Bella.

It’s been three years since his birth and five years since my eventful first year of marriage and meeting his father, Matteo.

“Mamaaaa” rang the voice of my baby boy as he found his way into the library where I was, walking hand in hand with his aunt.

“Oh, my sweet pookie.” I rush to him as he swings forward for a hug. “Did you have a great day at school today?” I ask him and he doesn’t answer but is all smiley which warms my heart.
