The second I turned around, my heart almost stopped.

Alfredo had Bella with a gun to her temple. Talk about going from one problem to an even bigger problem.

Her hands were trembling and her eyes were wide with shock, not fear but shock.

“Alfredo,” I forced out, raising my hands slightly. “You don’t have to do this.”
