Vincent's eyes narrowed, a scoff escaping his lips as he stepped closer to Louis. The tension between them was cause a fire which was what I didn't want. The soft glow from the mansion lights fell across Vincent’s face hinting at the cold fury in his eyes.
I could feel it. It was the same cold fury that came before his temper slipped.
“Vincent," I whispered, my fingers curling against his suit, “don’t.”
He didn’t even glance at me. His gaze was fixed on Louis, steady and unreadable. “You should leave,” he said, his tone hinted with a warning.
