Riley’s POV

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed was that I was no longer in the room.

There was no bed, no walls, no door, no Cane lying unconscious beside me, and no sign of Summer standing in front of me like before. 

Everything around me had completely changed, and for a few seconds I just stood there trying to understand how I got here so fast without even feeling anything happen in between.

I stayed where I was and turned slowly, checking every direction carefully because I didn’t want to miss anything important, but the more I looked around, the more confused I got.
