Riley's POV

The moment that woman’s voice echoes in my head screaming “Aemoria run!” something inside me snaps.

With every little bit of strength I still have left in my body, I shove Dahlia away from me as hard as I can.

“Get off me you fucker!”

She stumbles back from the sudden push and I lose my balance too. My legs give out under me and I fall hard on the ground.

My hands immediately grab my head as another wave of pain slams into my skull.

“Ahhh—!”

It feels like my brain is being ripped apart from the inside. The flashes, the voices, the screaming people, the blood...
