I did not wait to hear anything else.

The moment Riley said those last words, something in me snapped completely and I turned and walked out of the room without saying a single word to anyone. I could still hear Leslie crying softly behind me, and I knew Riley was still lying there weak and injured, but right now there was only one thing on my mind.
