Everything rings in my ears loudly.
It feels like there is a sharp buzzing inside my head that won’t stop no matter how hard I try to focus. I don’t know where I am. I don’t know how long I’ve been out. My body feels heavy like it’s sunk deep into something soft, and when I try to move, nothing responds the way it should.
I struggle to open my eyes.
My eyelids feel too heavy, like they’ve been glued shut.
Voices float around me, distant and unclear.
“She’ll be fine.”
“She just needs a little more sleep.”
