The whole week we basked in the glory of our newfound relationship. I took out time for Rosy and we went out on dates. Each time we explored new places, we enjoyed it more. With Arielle's birthday coming up, this time she took the initiative. Buying stuff for Arielle's surprise party, she made all the planning and completed all the preparations, all by herself. We invited all of Arielle's old friends as well as new school friends.

Finally, on the day of her birthday, she refused to go to school.
