"I can accompany gran too," she said looking away. I was expecting her to retaliate and I was ready with my answers.

"The ambulance can only accommodate 3 people apart from the patient," I stated matter of factly.

"You can take Martha with you,'' she argued, not giving in at all.

"Nope," I said, "You are coming with me and that's final." She surprisingly quietened after my final statement and I was glad.

Why did she need to fight me? I wanted her to travel with me. I was scared of the feelings that I had started feeling for her. It seemed that I couldn't stay away from...
