"Come on let's go. I'm taking you home." Hunter murmured as he tugged me towards his motorcycle.

"I came here with Jace!" I tried to argue.

I noticed how his expression hardened. "Well I don't see him around. Looks like Golden boy abandoned you."

My eyes scanned the area and Hunter was right, I couldn't find Jace anywhere. I felt a pang of hurt.

How could he bring me here and leave me like this?

"Get on." Hunter instructed as he handed me his helmet.

Begrudgingly I put it on and climbed on behind him. I could feel the heat radiating of his body. My heartbeat quickened.
