“And who says you are free to leave? my dear after causing so much trouble and as a once famous model, how dare you try to take away Leslie’s job? It all seems you are trying to take advantage of her being injured to rise back to fame” 

Everyone was stunned, yes they were aware Leslie was injured but seeing Jane replacing her not only makes sense but puts everything in its place. The reporters were not letting her leave, and she was getting question after question, unable to answer any, the crowd was getting even thicker making it very hard for her to breathe amidst everything. With the questions, came insults and the insults targeted her directly, they were fierce with their words and their looks did not look, friendly at all. 

“Leslie should be the spokesperson, not you….. that's her crown take it off” Jane was swiftly forced to withdraw as reporters surrounded her, some even pushed her at this moment adding to the insults.

 “I am going to sue Davious Entertainment, I wanted Leslie and not an outdated model, who is not shamed enough to pick up the place of her finance’s top model just out of spite.” the designer, had no idea who Jane was in the last years, she became famous when Jane had left the modeling industry and was preparing for marriage. They all knew her as the Faincee to Dave and nothing more. 

“As for you I will see you in court, however for now get lost, and make sure to take off every design of my from your body, and grace on you for if as much as a crash, is on any of them, you will pay full price which is something we all know you can't afford” she yelled at her, making the crowd go wild with gossip. The sharp voice echoed through the building even the reporters were surprised, no model would stand there and let someone yell at her like a baby. 

“Why are you still here? Get lost” Jane was already prepared to leave the stage, she was not only tired of the reporters but she wanted some quiet time. Everything was already getting blurry and it was making it harder for her to hold back her tears. 

“Yes someone should get lost indeed” a voice echoes around, in surprise the reporters all turn their flashlights around hoping to get the culprit who dares to get caught up in the hyped drama. However, their eyes and cameras were not ready for what they saw, it was no ordinary person but Damon Miles, standing all high and mighty. 

He was not the type to attend such occasions to stay long, but today seems to be the day he breaks every rule of his. Not only was he staying longer than expected, he was sticking to the drama unfolding. With such a powerful man's concern, not everyone dared make comments, for fear to get on his bad side. Everyone held their breath very certain Janet was out of luck, but to their surprise, Damon walks over to her and stands by her side. 

“Why are you still here? Shouldn't you get lost?” Miles asked looking fiercely at the designer. “I can make you disappear from the country if I want to. As an upcoming designer, you should be mindful of your words and behavior, it's of no doubt you can only work with cheap brands.” Janes's heartbeat stopped, she could not believe he was there for her. Who would have thought her new husband who she had married just a few hours ago will be here standing up for her?
