The ride to the shopping mall was very quiet, only the sound of the sweet cool romantic songs I had on the car stereo filled our ears.

Inside the car was very cold as I had the air conditioning on. I turned to look at her from time to time, I could feel her insecurities, her trembling fingers, and her deafening silence.
