Behind the secret door was a dark spiral staircase. She wondered how far down this staircase goes. Cecelia walked for a while, but still could not see the end.

Feeling nervous, Cecelia decided to keep going. She could only hope that there were no traps designed to prevent intruders and no guards Nathan had assigned to guard the stairs. Otherwise, she might not make it out of here alive.
