Ava's POV

Connor placed me gently on my bed, I released my hold on his arm, he stared at me a while then straightened up to go, which I regret badly because his body warmth left me.

"Connor" I said in a whisper desperately, he makes my body tinge, I can't even believe I called out to him.

"Get some rest"He said coldly

"Wha, what of Jap?" I asked when I found my voice

"He'll be fine" he look down at my body longingly

"I'll send your maids to you, don't move" With that he moved out of the room leaving me to stare...
