I woke up the following day with a massive smile on my face. Last night with Nate was terrific because he made our date unforgettable. Ugh, I hated that the date ended.

The phone rang, and my mom answered it. Then she knocked on my door.

“Come in!” I spoke.

She opened the door. “The phone is for you.” She handed me the phone, and I took it. She left, closing the door behind her.

“Hello?”

Hey. I had a fantastic time last night.

“I did, too.”

“I’m lying in my bed while still in my PJs.”
