I got up from the ground, and behind us, a lot of people had stopped, and they were casting curious glances towards the place. But Jasper didn't seem to care at all, and I didn't care if he didn't.

"It was an accident, I didn't know Olivia was in the garden at the time."

"An accident?!" Jasper rushed up and grabbed me by the throat, and I was forced to gaze into his scarlet eyes, "If you had killed Olivia outright that day, would you have said 'it was an accident' as plainly as that?!"

I understand that Olivia is not well and is easily injured, but...
