He didn’t say a word.

He was laying down there. And he was looking right at me like I had a huge mole on my face. The thick bandages that were on his leg made him shift every few seconds.

He was clearly uncomfortable. And he was clearly acting like he was not.

He opened his mouth like he wanted to speak. But then he closed it back. Opened it again. And closed it again.

I blinked.

Okay. Awkward.

I had never ever seen him this way. He was always the guy who everyone saw as cool. Perfect boyfriend picture for the IT girls.
