“He didn't say why?” I questioned my mother as she packed the last of her overflowing cases.

“I think to finalise your trip to Paris, he's just looking out for you, sweetheart!” I resisted the urge to roll my eyes as she continued to ramble on, “....and make sure you dress,” she eyed my leggings and hoodie up and down with distaste, “appropriately….we've got guests in the meeting room.”
