Chapter 6 ~ Owner ~

Chapter 6 ~ Owner ~

Blaze’s POV

I was their boss, and she tarnished my formidable reputation in front of them. She kicked my reputation like a football.

I helplessly rubbed my aching forehead; other than that, what could I do? I came out behind the pillar and started walking towards her. She might have felt my presence because she looked back at me. Seeing me, she let out a sigh.

I stood in front of her and looked at her helplessly, saying, "Still childish.'' I couldn't even scold her because my heart was against this idea.

"So, what if you kidnapped me here? I can do whatever I want," she snorted like an angry child.

Her face turned red from anger; her eyes and nose already looked red chili.

"Yeah, Your Majesty, you can do whatever you want. Look, you called for me, and I'm here at your service," I said as gently as I could. I didn't want to anger my stubborn queen again.

" So what? Should I feel happy and dance in happiness, getting such an honor from a liar?" she asked coldly as if it had nothing to do with her. I wanted to say, my darling, from my one-word, people kill each other, and for one meeting they had to wait one year, but now you're asking me if I feel happy or not. But what can I say? It was me who had been waiting for five years to see you—for your one look; I even stayed in front of your workplace for two days.

"But I'm happy to see you, love," I whispered to myself, and she did not hear me.

"Let go. I'll carry you," I said to her. She was standing on a stool. The window was 5 feet up on the floor, and my girl wasn't very tall, so she stood on that stool to reach the window.

"No need. I have my legs. Show me the way, and I can walk on my own," she told me and tried to jump from the stool, my heart leaping a beat.

I held her in my arms and carried her in bridal style; as I felt her against my body, my heart let out a happy scream; it was screaming and telling me how long it's been. I hugged her. Every cell of my body knows the pain they bore when I left her and spent these five years without her.

Just one touch from her was enough to let my body and heart know their owner returned to them. After carrying her in my arms, I understood she was still the same as she was five years ago; I was three times bigger than her. She was like a little doll in my arms.

"What are you doing? The floor is very slippery. What if you fall?” I scolded her out of worry, but she was too lazy to care about my scolding.

"What the hell are you doing? Let me go right now," Anna screamed in frustration.

She needed to understand I could also be stubborn with her safety. She shouldn't behave like a child.

I walked in the right direction, and she was busy wrestling in my embrace, so I would let her walk. But I could be more stubborn than her when I wanted. Finally, after five long years, I found this chance; how could she even think I would let her buzz? We have five long years to catch up.

I took her to the dining room once again. When I reached there, I let her sit on a chair. She tried to get up from the chair, but I pressed her down once again. "I'll eat you like my food if you dare even to stand up, "I warned her, which worked on her like magic.

My cook was standing at the left side and waiting for my order, even though I could feel every man of mine looking weirdly at me and I already knew the reason.

But I didn't care about anything other than her at this moment.

I served the food on a plate and put the plate in front of Anna. "Eat," I said and sat next to her.

She looked at her food and then at me. "I'll eat if you answer me what I am doing here. Otherwise, I'll not eat even if you kill me," Anna stated straight, looking into my eyes. And I knew that look in her eyes. She was profoundly serious about this.

"Anna's POV

This hooligan, man! How dare he carry me without my permission? But then I thought, when did he ever ask for permission from me?

He never did. He entered my life without my consent and left my life without permission, just like now. He kidnapped me, caged me here, and now touched me as he wished.

I really couldn't be the obedient puppy he wanted me to be. So, when he served me the food and told me to eat, I couldn't hold back and said sternly to him, "I'll eat if you answer me what I am doing here. Otherwise, I'll not eat even if you kill me." My voice was shaking, but I looked into his eyes. He knew I was dead serious, and he couldn't avoid this.

If he doesn't tell me right now, I will jump from the window even if I become an ugly ghost.

"Okay, but if you finish everything in 5 minutes, I'll answer every question." He pointed toward my plate.

I wanted to tell him to go to hell, but I knew being angry wouldn't do any good.

"Okay, I'll eat, but you promised me, remember this," I said to him.

"Since when have I broken my promise?" He slipped it out, and I looked at him with an are-you-kidding-me look, and he looked embarrassed knowing that I didn't trust him, and yeah, he broke many promises he once made to me.
