I unstrapped my gun from my shoulders and threw it to the tiles, creating a clanking sound. Dan still pointed his gun at the vampire. The man was behind Jessy and held a knife to her throat. He was dark skinned and had no hair on his head.

"Tell the kid to drop his gun or I cut her throat."

"Daniel." I locked eyes with him. "Do as he asks." I frowned. "Its an order."
