Ian's POV

Torches were mounted at both sides of the room and they partially lit it. A figure in the form of a human stood at the far end, it's sights set outside the high window before them. The red moon in the purple sky glistened brightly.

"Hailbuzar."

I recognized that voice anywhere, it was my father's. But he wasn't in view.

"Father?"

The form at the window spiraled and faced me. Their red eyes glimmered under the dim lighting. A shadow fell over the figure concealing the upper half of their body. They stepped forward to reveal a man with a slick black hair that was parted...
