Talus' POV

I yawned and stretched my arms. Last night was hell. I couldn't believe I slept inside this forest. I sat up and glanced around. Isalo and Janos were awake, the latter holding a dead boar in a stake.

Morning sunlight sneaked past the tall trees and lit up the forest. I rose and head to them.

"Lord, you're awake." Isalo smiled. "We went hunting."

"I can see." I nodded my head in approval. "I'm surprised you two did something together without cutting off your heads."

Janos smirked. "I got tired of playing his child games with him."

"I'm not a child." Isalo frowned and walked to a boulder....
