Ian's POV
"Have you guys told anyone about this?" I asked, locking my hands on the desk.
The kids spared each other a look and shook their heads. I had already interrogated them. It was obvious they only went to the lake to have fun.
"Good," I said. "Let it stay that way."
"But Master Ian," Tristan started. "won't the students deserve to know what's going on?"
Hannah nodded in agreement.
"No." Albazar sat on the desk. "One death won't cause panic. But another in a span of days is sure to make the students start talking ."
I carefully watched the recruits' countenance. Scott avoided eye contact with Albazar....
