The Search

It killed Philip to see Darlene in the state. Worse, he couldn't stay to comfort her. He had to rush to the hospital. There was an emergency. Darlene was glum all morning as Philip got dressed. Philip knew they were leaving the matter halfway. Darlene looked admiringly at her husband, who had just come out into the room fully dressed. He was always dressed without a crinkle and his shirt.

Philip was tall and he had a strong yet grounded personality. His clean shaved face was never without a smile. It made him respectable, and at the same time, approachable. Her eyes were fixated on him...
