Freda's POV

“I am on my way.” He said as he placed his phone back in his pocket. I stood against the wall, breathing heavily, trying to catch my breath. I heard his footsteps fading away swiftly as he walked out of the room. I heaved a sigh of relief as I walked away from the wall back to my bed. Just before I sat down on my bed, the door opened again revealing Hardin and my heart skipped a beat. What was he doing here again? I thought he needed to go out. I felt miserable sitting there on the bed.
