Chapter 6 6

Yuuri frowned and looked at him angrily, “What do you want from me?”

“I want you to withdraw the invitation that I filed against him and I..I.. will pay you the amount you want to compensate you.”

While Yuri was thinking if what I heard was true, he assured her, saying, “This is my offer, an offer you can only refuse if you are stupid. And you are clearly not. Free my son, and I will pay you enough money to live in prosperity for the rest of your life.” Drops of sweat ran down his face as he finished saying those words.

Yuri felt a terrible pain in her heart. This insult was enough. Why don't the gongs leave her alone?

“Please leave Mister Jong before I kick you out of here,” she said coldly, turning to the window again, her back facing him. In her entire life, she had never spoken so rudely to people much older than her this time. But the gongs were making her angry.

For Mister Jung, Yuri's actions were enough to raise the pressure, "We'll speak his blood," "Look at me, Miss, when I talk to you! That's enough of your stubbornness! You will regret it, take my advice!” yell.

Yuri got angry, "Get out of my sight! Get out of my mind!" She yelled at him with her red eyes filled with tears and anger.

Mr. Jung's face turned red, "I won't let you, just wait and you'll see."

Yuuri threw the vase beside him at him. It was shocking. Fortunately, the vase did not hit him. "Get out! I grind!” She was screaming hysterically while she was looking for other things to throw at him.

"I will be back."

Every word he said was like a poisoned arrow in Yuri's heart. She was trying to lean on the edge of the bed, shivering.

“And we’ll talk more about our deal.” Mr. Jung continued as Yuri pressed the button next to her bed several times asking for the nurse to come. The doctor and nurses rushed to her to find her in a hysterical state about to explode. The doctor grabbed Mister Jung by the hand and took him out of the room, “Please leave, sir. It won't take any more pressure. Please understand the situation.” Mr. Jung sighed. It is difficult to deal with. Yoochun was right. There were things that money couldn't buy and she had them all. 'I feel pity for her,' he said to Mister Jung, sadly to himself. 'You've been hurt so much! I can tell by her red and teary eyes and also by her desperate words! Yunho, Yunho, what did you do to her?!' His heart was screaming from within. 'But I have to find a way to free Yunho, I can't allow my only son to stay in prison. How will he live there?' He sighed again and headed to the hospital exit.

The next morning, the doctor and nurses came in for Yuri's daily check-up. "How are you, Miss Kwan, this morning?"

better, thanks. When can I leave?”

“Um… let’s see,” the doctor muttered as he wrote something on his papers. He was worried because of her troubled feelings. The nurse took her blood pressure.

“I think you have to stay longer because your condition is not quite stable yet,” he said sweetly.

Yuri smiled at him, she respected that old doctor, as he was patient with her, especially when she was in a bad condition when she first came to the hospital.

“You should rest, my dear. Also, from now on, you will move to a

VIP room. ” The

doctor smiled.

Yuri frowned, "Why? I mean, my family can't pay for it. I also don't see the necessity of staying in the VIP room

."

The doctor smiled at her and said, “I'm sorry, this is a management matter, I don't know about it. You can ask management about it.” Yuuri nodded her head.

Yuri slowly

walked into the VIP room

, confused. She opened the room door with the smiling nurse beside her. I was surprised when flowers were all over the room. A large, comfortable bed was in the middle of the room. “It's a courtesy from Mr. Jung,” the nurse explained to her. Yuri turned back, "Tell him I don't want her. I want to go back to my room.”

“Miss Kwan,” the nurse called her quickly, holding her wrist, “Please don’t make it difficult for us. We are short of rooms at the moment and your previous room has already been occupied by someone else. If you don't agree, we can solve it later, but please stay here until we find a solution.” Yuuri finally agreed to stay in that room until they find another one for her, but she asked the nurse to throw away all the flowers before she entered the room.

“Miss Kwan,” Yuri heard someone calling her, so she turned to see Mister Jung standing at the door. She turned in front of her and put her hands on her face and sighed deeply, 'Oh my God!' She secretly yelled 'How can he come back after what happened?'

“I met Yunho yesterday and he told me everything.” His voice wasn't as stern as yesterday nor was he arrogant anymore. He paused, waiting for her reaction, but Yuri did nothing, so Mister Jung wiped his forehead and swallowed hard and said, “I apologize for my behavior towards you yesterday. I shouldn't have acted that way. It was all my son's fault and I, being his father, am ashamed of what he did. I couldn't believe Yunho had done such a terrible thing. I don't know what's wrong with it, it has changed a lot over the last two years. He was a good young man and a good son. I've already lost it." His voice was so sad. 'Is he doing this just to get my attention?' That's what was on Yuri's mind. She looked at him trying to find some lies in his eyes, but to her surprise, she found nothing but despair on the face of a father who had lost his beloved son. She felt a ache of sadness in her heart. It was all his son's fault. Yes that's right. She was in complete agreement with what the old man had said for the first time.

“Miss Kwan, I can understand if you don't want to release him from prison, I am trying to be fair now. I understand your pain and once again I apologize on behalf of my son.” Mr. Jung said kindly. All that arrogance and stubbornness that was evident on his face yesterday has completely disappeared today, and weakness and sadness darken his eyes. In spite of everything, he remains a normal human being and a father like all fathers. Yuri was a kind girl and she felt pain as she looked at that old man who would do anything for his son. She took a deep breath, but was still silent. But she still could not forget the unbearable pain in her heart.

“Miss Kwan..” Mr. Jung called her.

“Did you notice what you just called me, Mister Jung? Miss Kwan.” She paused for a moment at the last word, then smiled a bitter smile, “After what your dear son did to me, I no longer have any pride to call me Miss.” She whispered sadly as she tried to prevent her tears from flowing down her cheeks, so her eyes turned red. Mister Jung was shocked by Yuri's words. He kept looking at her silently, unable to say a single word. "I'm sorry, I won't bother you, you need to rest." Then he left the room, bowing his head. He sighed deeply. Her words and the look of pain on her face weren't leaving his mind 'Did you notice what you just called me, Mister Jung?' Miss Kwan. After what your precious son did to me, I don't have any pride to call me Miss, 'I think I lost to this girl after Yoochun too,' he said to himself. Then head out of the hospital.

Mr. Jung kept visiting Yuri day and night during the days she spent in the hospital, although she always treated him coldly whenever he tried to talk to her. He would send her flowers every day, even though he knew they would end up in the litter basket. All the nurses, on the floor where Yuuri was, were smiling whenever the famous Mr. Jung came to visit Miss Kwan. “If we didn’t know the truth, we would have thought Mr. Jung fell in love with Kwan Yuri,” one of the nurses said to her friend and then smiled.

It's been days since Yuri came into this room. What should she do with him now? It was the question that made Yuri insomnia daily and prevented her from sleeping.

On her last day in the hospital, she had made up her mind.

“Miss Kwan, I am glad that you are leaving the hospital today,” Mr. Jeong said happily when he came to visit her again. He was glad that since yesterday, Yuri was no longer treating him coldly.

Yuri raised her head from the book she was reading. She sighed, then bit her lower lip, “You can now call your lawyer and he can take the necessary papers with him.” She was talking, feeling pain inside. “What do you mean?” Mr. Jung stunned. .

Yuri looked at him. She wanted to tell him, 'I'm only doing this for you', but she couldn't. After a few seconds of silence, she whispered, “I will sign the papers necessary to dismiss the charges against your son. I am tired of all this. Just leave me alone. But you have to make sure that I don't see you nor your son again for the rest of my life.” She spoke, her voice trembling.

Freeing him from prison was the most difficult decision in her life, but she decided to end this painful tragedy, forget everything about her and live her life.
