I honestly wanted to laugh at Emily's misery but I refrained from doing so. I had given her the entire day off to go home and rest and to think that she would have accepted it. A lot of people, if given that privilege would be happy that they would be able to go home and not have to work–– but no not Emily. I must say I admire her determination and spirit and I am happy that I had hired her as my personal assistant. I needed someone like her who was willing to work and deliver, I just know that she will make my company more successful...
