"I'm looking for my wife" was his direct answer without taking his eyes off me.

Wait, wife?

Which wife is he looking for? And is he already married? Why didn't Luisa tell me anything.

the muttering suddenly rang out again and it got even louder when Señorito started walking inside.

"Who's your wife here Mr. Monteverde?" I heard Miss Ignacio ask

He ignored her and just kept walking closer to where I was
