"Listen," I tell him as I push myself away from him, taking a step back. "I think I should probably go back home. I have some stuff to sort out."

"Ok," he nods in agreement as he smiles at me. "Just...let me know when you'll be leaving."

I nod back at him and then quickly walk away from him and towards the door. Before opening it, however, I turn back to face Axel.

"Thank you for everything," I tell him sincerely. "And I'm sorry about what happened yesterday."
