"Did you sleep well?" I ask him.

"Yes," he replies.

"Want to try to make this day even better than yesterday? Maybe we can take a trip to the beach or something," I suggest.

"That sounds like fun," he says excitedly. "Why don't we do that today?"

I grin. He loves the beach. As much as he hates swimming, he loves the water and the sand. He also loves sunbathing. I love the beach because I love being surrounded by people, but he loves it because it allows him to swim. I'm not sure why he likes it so much. He said it's because it helps him clear his mind....
