"Thanks for dragging me in this stupid situation." I said in a throaty voice that wasn’t mine.

"Stupid huh?" He scraped harder with his sharp teeth, just below where he’d bitten me before, and I gasped as my body jerked. "The only stupid thing here is literally running away from one of the most powerful alpha thinking she can leave in peace."

"I'm so stupid that I let your supporters drag me here." My blood pounded through me in a dizzying push.

He laughed as his lips skimmed the side of my throat. "I'll like to hear another lie."
