I couldn’t tell how I was doing, but I decided to put everything about Leonard behind me. Since I left home, I hadn’t thought about him, and it felt like progress.

During lunch, I went down to the cafeteria and had something light. Afterward, I read a book before returning to the office. Having been away for a while, I had quite a few files to sort through, but I was grateful for the virtual work I had completed back at home.
