When I regained consciousness, I saw my parents rushing into the hospital, holding my sister tightly in their arms, panic written all over their faces.
I followed closely behind them, desperately wanting to grab hold of them and tell them that I was in great pain too, that I needed their care and love just as much.
But they couldn't see me, nor could they hear me.
I could only watch as they surrounded my sister, showering her with concern.
But I had been completely forgotten.
