Lucas’s POV

“L-LUCAS. Maybe I'll be late .. ”said Maxine. I just woke up.

"S-sorry ..." my embrace gradually loosened. I could barely hear anything but my deafening heartbeat.

"I-I'll be the first ..."

I couldn’t say anything. i am just looking at her face until she turned her back from me. Seemed I cannot move. I just stood and watched her leave for a moment .. I was barely touched on the left side of my chest. What the hell was that ?! Damn, why do I feel like I’m getting worse and worse.

oh God, I’m sicked.

I don't want to go home because of Grandpa...
